Oil pan removal

I am trying to remove the oil pan on my 8n. Supporting the front end and trans. with jacks I have removed all the bolts from the pan. Are there any dowell pins holding the pan to the front end or bell housing. I have tried to pry and tap the pan loose with no movement. If I must use more force I will just don"t want to break something.

The front end has to come off. Along with the hood, gas tank, etc.

The bolts you are probably missing are behind the front bolster the holds the front axle in. The are on either side of the crank pulley and can be a bear to see/remove. Clean the area good to locate them.

This is assuming you removed the others; including the ones attaching to the bell housing.

Post this down on the 9N, 2N, 8N board and you will get more help.
