Old bobsled

I'm currently restoring an old bobsled/feed sleigh. It needs all new wood and all the metal parts stripped and painted. The sleigh is late 1800's/early 1900's and was built in St. Paul, MN by a Anderson something company. Any tips on restoring it or any additional information on this type of bobsled, the company, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like it is probably a good candidate for rust and paint removal by electrolysis.

when remaking the wood pieces, take your time and remake em as close as you can to what they was originally. alot of people do it as simple as they can and fly through it and end up with something that looks throwed together.
