Misc. rebuilding questions for a 1937 C Case

I'm a bit new to this and have found myself with a 1929 Case L and a 1937 Case C. They both need some help...but not out of reach. The C had a stuck motor. I'm about ready to put it back together and would like to know the torque specs for connecting rod nuts, torque for head bolts and if there is a specific pattern for tightening. Thanks for any help offered. Cork

Invest in a shop manual. It will answer much better than hearsay opinions!

Just sit and read it, guarantee you will have several "I better check that" moments. Much easier now than later...

75 on the head nuts and 70 on the rods, there is a torque sequence but if you don't have access to a book start in the middle and spiral your way out to the ends of the head

a mechanic told me to mark with a paint pen all the bolts that have been torqued. it makes for a visual double check when you have to come back to it later.
