VH4D zenith carb update

Hi all,
Just wanted to update some recent developments, first thanks a bunch to the folks who helped me out with this. So I took Steve"s advice and got some carb cleaner and tested all around the manifold, and to my surprise nothing! So I started to mess around with the choke, idle screw, and throttle and finally found a happy place the spitting has disappeared and she is at least in the ballpark, what a relief ! Thanks again all just about wrapped up on this project, what the heck am I going to get into next hahahaha

Good to hear that!
At least now you know it s a fuel mixture problem. Since you have 2 carbs to work with, don't be afraid to get in there and do some surgery. Check out the passages, see where they go, what they do.

There's plenty of carb theory info online. Get you some jet drills, see what happens...

Don't worry about not having a drill chuck that will go that small, you'll be taking such a small cut you can turn them with your fingers.
