I'm restoring a MTA with two different rear wheels. One has PN.392415-R1 the other has PN.363014-R. The parts book has PN.355439-R1. I don't know what would be better, to match one or the other or find two with the parts book number. I know I could leave them as is but I don't think that would be right. I sure would appreciate any opinions or advice. Thanks Big Jer JD

I would go shopping at my local salvage yard, see what is available, and then make my decision.

Sounds like both have been replaced. Correct wheel is 6325 DD ,casting code "Z". See SM-TA"s and others that have had wheels replaced, usually from shearing the cast wheel key,or breaking the wheel clamp from unequal tightening. Sold many of both, especially back in the two row mounted picker days.

392415R1 is from like a 656. 363014 depending on the R number is from a 400, 450, 560 or 300 to 460 equipped with 2.75 diameter axles. Those are 8 spoke wheels and use double bevel rims.
Original SMTA used 6 spoke wheels and deep drop rims. Wheels number 6325DE or wheels cast after around the middle of 1954 6325DF. Those wheels used one single axle clamp that used 3/4 inch diameter bolts. IH made a 6 spoke replacement wheel 365345R1 that used two axle clamps and 7/8 diameter bolts. The clamps are like what you have on the present wheels.
355439R1 or R2 is the part number for a SMTAV or a cotton picker wheel that used 2 axle clamps. Part # 365344R91 replaced 355439 and 6325 and had part number 365345R1 on the wheel.
