Glasses fogging, dust mask

While power sanding, wire brushing, grinding, etc., I tend to wear a dust mask (covering nose and mouth), my glasses, a full face mask and hearing protectors.
Especially when cold, the dust mask causes my glasses to fog up badly.
I'd appreciate any tips and remedies.
Thanks.

I was having the same problem with just protective glasses, I started wearing a respirator mask which of course seals to your face so that no vapor gets to the lenses.

They also make cheap dust masks with a exhaust valve in front. Really cuts down on hot air coming out around the nose (and thus into the glasses).

There are coatings you can put on eye glasses to stop fogging.I have 2 liquid types and there are wax types.I used them when I did saw sharpening.

Thanks for the tip. Will try these coatings. Hope it will also be effective in cold weather when the fogging is worst.

Thanks for the suggestion.
If the coatings don't do the trick I'll invest in a respirator mask. I'll need one that does not interfere with my full face shield.

The 3M ones with the valve work good with glasses IF you make sure you get the metal nose piece bent good around your nose. Also sometimes the valves will stick so make sure it is loose before you start working.

buy a respirator. They work much better anyways, and you can also use them when working with anything with dangerous fumes.

If not that, than go with the dust masks with the valve in the front as others have said.
