So the story continues, after looking at some old photos and studying things I discovered that the carb was installed by the shop backwards the aircleaner hose attached to the rear not the front . The shop said they rebuilt the carb at this point I don"t trust them from the timing, the fuel pump, and many other issues that I have had , I never bash any one however I will say avoid J&J MACHINE SHOP 33RD STREET BALTIMORE CITY. With that said I need to take the carb off and correct this, #1 does anyone know if by the carb being on backward have anything to do with the popping? I didn"t think it did but wanted to ask? #2 does anyone know of a good carb shop I can send this to, I feel I need to have it looked at. I don"t trust that J&J did anything other then clean it up. If anyone knows of a good shop around Parkville / whitemarsh please let me know. thanks Scott
