My 2006 f 250 ford 4X4 diesel (death shake)

Ever since I bought this truck new I had to try to fix what they call (death shake). This is where the front end tires starts to bounce or shake. This past year I had to change tires do to dirt roads that I was on driveing on so I did. To my surprise I had fixed the problem just by changeing the tires to a more aggressive off road type tire. It has been working out this past year and I have no shakeing tires up front of the truck.

Hate to tell you , but it will most likely return when the tires wear down . I had an 84 chevy that did that till I put new tires on it . Fixed the problem....... for a while. The first time it happened did you ruin your seat covers ? I almost did lol . Deluxe

I will suggest that you take that truck to a front end alignment shop and let them work their magic. If you don't, those new tires will soon be history.

does yours have a steering stabilizer shock? check it for damage or leaking oil. it is not an uncommon problem.

This will help, But there was a recall from Ford on this that changed the front end alignment specs. The camber if my memory is correct. You alignment shop should know about it but you will have to tell them about the shake.
