JD 46a Loader lift cylinder

My lift cylinders on my JD 46a are leaking... Found kits for them and have the cylinders off the tractor. I have the little nuts with the Alan wrench sets in the out of the cylinders but for the life of me I can not get the arms out of the cylinders... I see no rings or anything else that i can do.. Anyone out there who can walk we though getting them apart fro this point?

Thanks

If it is the cylinder I am thinking of you have to drive the rod gland into the barrel an inch or so and there you will see a retaining ring. Remove the ring and the whole assembly should come out.

Correct. I figured that out this afternoon... Thank you.. Funny thing however, when i took it into the Local JD dealership, this is actually a 35 not a 46a...
