Help! Need to replace timing cover 1950 8n

Hello. I have a 1950 8n (side mount distrib.) and am need of some help on replacing a cracked timing cover. I have removed the distributor and all the bolts on the timing cover (except the two from the bottom). I am not sure how to get to those? I believe I have to also remove the crankshaft bolt and pulley in order to remove the timing cover. However, I am not sure if I can remove the crankshaft bolt and pulley without removing the entire front end of the tractor. If anyone has any advice on how to replace the timing cover, I would appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance for your help!

Might try posting question on the YT FORD 9N, 2N, & 8N forum. I'm going to think that you can't get cover out far enough to clear dowels w/o pulley moved and that can't move pulley w/o getting axle out of way, but ask it on the other forum, & hope I'm wrong!
