What would make the no. 1 and no. 3 cylinder on my farmall h have next to nothing for comprestion? No. 2 and No. 4 have close to 70 on the gauge. Everything had been recently gone through.

Stuck rings? Even 70 sounds low for a recently done engine. Put some ATF in each cyl for a few days......might loosen the rings. Was it properly run-in after the engine work, to seat the rings?

Adjusted valve clearance. All cylinders 70 + comp.
Timing is correct, still... gas dripping from carb. engine is trying to start but no go. Any help would help. There is spark. Someone said it would start with 50 lbs. Comp. It will build up near 80 . Still no start.

I would suspect cam timing. I would take the valve cover off and check what the valves are doing with respect to the pistons.

Spark means little or nothing unless it is a good blue/white and will jump a 1/4 inch gap or more. 70PSI is low unless a distalite (sp) engine

Watch you're not over choking it. My W4 (same engine as H) won't start with full choke. I can vouch that it will run with low compression as mine did when I first started it. I did find it helped to switch to hotter plugs with low compression. I used 3116 Autolites.

Thanks to all who helped. Valves out of adjustment 80+ now in all cylinders. Replaced points & condenser, started right up runs fine. It is 1941 h someone put an Oliver loader, wide front, 3 point, and power stearing everything works. There are gate valves in Hydraulic lines you open and close whether you are using loader and bucket or 3 point. Can't use both at same time, any advice on changing that would be interesting. Thanks again.
