installing a power steering pump

I have a Ford 800 with power steering, but the pump was gone when I bought it...recently found one on EBAY and trying to understand how it mounts....the bracket for the pump is there but can't seem to understand the turn buckle adjustment rod that also came with the used pump....above the pump there is a body bracket that has holes in it, one small hole and one rather large hole....I am assuming the turn buckle rod is for placing tension on the drive belt.....can anyone walk me through mounting the pump.....thanks for any reply
 
Thanks Bob for the reply and breakdown of the pump......but my question really is closer to how the turnbuckle attaches to the tractor from the pump....it pins onto the pump and the turn buckle fastens to the tractor somewhere....I can see several holes, but one to too small, the other seems to be too big.....it must direct the pump away from the side of the tractor to put tension on the belt.....just not sure where......
 
Yeah, the drawing DOES show the brackets in their relative positions, but NOT specifically where the turnbuckle attaches.
 

The turnbuckle slips into the small hole near the center in the top of the gas tank support.
 
Thanks for your reply......I tried that hole, but apparently the turn-buckle that came with my used pump is slightly different than the original....it is larger in diameter....so I need to drill out the existing hole......am I correct to think the tension is made on the belt by turning the turn buckle "out".......? Need to buy a new belt...maybe that would help me see how it all works together.....seems the pump needs to be pushed upward to get the correct tension.....the turn-buckle seems to push downward if it goes in the small hole in the brace for the gas tank.......hope I am making sense.....
