three point fluid

I have a 900 series Ford 1955 I believe. The 3 point does not lift. I suspect low oil. Where is the fill for the 3 point and what fluid is best to use. Not familiar with this tractor at all and not much of a wrench so apologize in advance if this question is extremely elementary

The fill is under the seat, a large round plug with a raised hex. use some cheap oil to rinse it out first. Let it run for a half hour to get it warmed up and suspend crud, then drain it out. You can use UTF in all three sumps. Universal Trans. Fluid. There is a dip stick on the left side by the PTO lever. Congratulations on getting a very nice tractor.
