clutch JD 4020

I have a JD 4020,,that got water into the clutch compartment,,and the clutch is stuck now..Any ideas on how to get it loose ???

Start by blocking the pedal down, to take the pressure off of the areas that are stuck for a few days. You can take the cover off of the bottom and spray brake cleaner up there, to clean ans soften things up a bit as well.

CAUTION... Am NOT advising you to do this, and risk running over yourself, but from there, it has been done to rig up a remote start switch so it could be safely started in gear from the seat, and then drive it around, hit the brakes, turn, etc., to load the clutch and hopefully break it loose. OBVIOUSLY, one has to be prepared to safely shut down the engine if it does NOT break loose, or forward movement has to be stopped for any other reason.
