Steering problem 1957 Ford Jubilee

Steering has disconnected- won't steer to the left; steering rod works out the top of the cowling, but not completely. Any ideas appreciated.

1957 Jubilee no such tractor was ever made. The Ford Jubilee was made one year only and that was 1953 but may well be as Bob said as for your problem

ditto what both said. a jubilee is a 53 year designation of the late 52 thru 54 naa model. 57 puts it in 00/01 territory depending.

in any event. it sounds like a mechanical box with a bad upper thrust bearing.
