Hal,

I just gave Rodney a call and he has too much work to take this on however, I explained my story to him and he said if the cam and crankshaft gear were not timed correctly I wouldn't have compression. Im driving home today and going over the whole thing again because he said it should start if everything is how I explained I have it? If I cant get it tonight I am going to look for another shop to take it on.

Don't give up on it. You need to make sure it's getting gas. When you get the fuel pump fixed and it doesn't fire when cranking, hold your hand over the throat of the carb to see if has good suction while cranking. Hal
