Hello all, I"m new to this so forgive me in advance if the questions are to novice for some of you pros.
I"m apptempting to replace the throw out bearing on my 770 Oliver. I taking the harder route, or so says the service manual, and trying to get at the clutch w/o pulling the engine. I"ve gotten as far as removing the clutch housing bolts and am able to slide the house back enough to get at the carrier assembly. My question is how do i free the shaft so that I can begin to install the new TO bearing? Thanks in advance for your kind replies.
