Farmall c radiator repair

Would it be a good idea to use radiator sealant that you pour into the radiator to repair a leak ? Thanks

I have seen and heard both ways. I have used the bronze powder and the silver powder with no success. I had success many years ago with Porter Seal. I have also had success with a powder with GM brand name on it.

All depends where it is leaking. I have had leaks where the tank is soldered to the core and repaired it with JB water weld. It is an epoxy putty with hardener in the center. I cleaned the area with a small wire wheel and then put a small amount along the crack. The leak never came back.
