I was wondering how hard is it to pull out the pto assembly on a 766 international

Drain down the oil in the rear end to below the PTO opening.

Disconnect linkage, remove 6 LONG 1/2" bolts, safely support unit and move rearward, keeping it under control so as not to hurt yourself or tear off the pickup tube for it's oil pump, which hangs down. (It's "front-heavy".)

The shaft that drives it has a coupler at each end, so make sure all those parts are accounted for and one of the couplers does not wind up laying in the bottom of the housing!
