Help!! MF40 Hydraulics. A real head scratcher.

Hello all, I"m new to the forum. I have a MF40 loader. I recently
added a grapple to the loader bucket. It worked fine for a little
while (20min). Now the loader hydraulics only work when the
tractor is facing downhill. I have tried overfilling the fluid thinking
that the suction tube wasn"t able to reach the fluid level. That didn"t
really help. The 3pt lift works just fine. Im not sure if I hooked the
power and suction up right? I hooked it into the loader valve. I will
try to post a picture of my setup. But I would think it is hooked up
right just because it works periodically? Thank you for any help
that can be provided, this is a real head scratcher. :)

I recently unhooked the grapple and put it back the way I found it when it was working correctly. However it still didn't fix the issue. And the loader is getting worse it only raises half way now. Filter looks fine. Fluid apeares to be circulating in the case. Oh and the breather cap puffs when I let the loader handle go?? Im so confused!! LOL.

Hope the pic helps.

I don't know if this is it or not, but I only see two control handles on the valve. You need three to operate a grapple fork. Each function needs it's own valve.

Yeah I plumed in another valve control. And thanks to the help from the guys on here it is now plumed correctly. And hopefully the discovery of the new loader fluid tank I have fixed my pump problem. I wont get to work on it till tomorrow but I will let you guys know what I figure out. Thanks for everybody's help.
