Need 12v headlights for AC WD

When i bought the tractor a few years ago it didn"t have headlights. Once it warms up I am doing a 12v conversion and i will need headlights. Instead of buying a repo for $50 a piece i think I can make my own for relatively cheap. My only problem is finding a good light that I can do this with. I want to have replaceable bulbs instead of sealed units like most are. I found one that seems like it would work, but I was hoping for more options. Thanks for any help in advance.

BTDT on my W Speed Patrol and I used the factory type lights on it and found 12 volt bulbs that fit the factory units. O'Reilly's had them or can get them

Yep that can be hard some times. That said I think I have a pair but maybe missing the lens for one of them. I have a WC parts tractor that has the factory head lights on it

There are some on some used ones on Ebay but by the time you pay the S&H you will close to the price of new ones. All States AG Parts phone 877-530-4430 say call them and they can tell if they have them and give you a price.

Are you sure they are 5". They very well could be but I think mine were 4 3/4 inch when I replaced them a few years ago. It might be worth double checking before you order anything. Just my 2 cents worth

I was just going to try to build my own set of
lights. i know the factory are 4 3/4". I found a
solution to my problem without having to go that
route. thanks for the reply.

If original appearance is not an issue, just go to your local farm store and see what they have. If you want high tech, and don't mind spending a few bucks, you can now get LED headlamps.

I see your not letting the cat out of the bag so to speak. LOL If they give me to much trouble I'll box up the whole shooting match LOL

I also Second the Motion on LED"s.. They Are Very Bright and use a fraction of the Amps of the 6- or 12V... Unless You are a Purists and want to keep the Orig look..and pretty reasonable too. Larry KF4LKU

I try not to discuss business on here. I dont want to have too many people bothering you about parts unless you're ok with that.
