Anyone have any ideas or products to use to fill cracks in steering wheels, and type of paint to use? Was thinking of using epoxy and Krylon paint.

J-B weld works good .After applying I work it in with rubber gloves and soapy water. Then you can repaint because it will be gray. Don't build up too much just fill the cracks . [I slide my hands back and forth acroos the wheel to level it out with the liquid]. You sound like you have the right idea already.

I fixed a steering wheel last year and painted it with Rustoleum paint for plastic and it looked like brand new. Three months later it had hair line cracks all over it. Next time it will be a aftermarket steering wheel for me.

A type of paint that is very UV resistant is 1-shot signpainters lettering enamel . It is made for outdoor signs. and will last . Some art stores and some auto body supplies sell it.

Good video, looked like he was using bondo, maybe without the hardner? Maybe I'll try that with the high heat paint.
