Info is easy enough to find on-line.
Use FIAT parts lookup:
http://partstore.caseih.com/us/parts-search.html#epc::mr56558ar957886
to get the IH part numbers, then use
http://www.skf.com/binary/12-66347/457013.pdf
to cross the bearings to industry numbers, and
http://www2.chicago-rawhide.com/popup_parts_lookup_457012.htm
to cross the seal numbers. After all this, I wonder how much cheaper you can find them than simply having the dealer get them? |

| Thanks Bob for the information, but somehow the info. and exploded diagram in link you sent was lost on the CaseIH site when I clicked on "find a dealer" when I back clicked it went back to the same page with a different layout, I don't know what happened, and from what I see the Farmall 400 is not listed on the CaseIH site only newer models. |

| | Go to: http://partstore.caseih.com/us/ Click "Parts Catalog" at the left. Then, click "Find by model". Then click "Search". A box will open "Search by model". Enter "400". Hit "Search". A list will come up, including IH 400 gas or IH 400 diesel. Click on the one you have. The final drive breakdowns are in the "Chassis" section. |
