Manure Spreader Floor

I purchased a New Idea ground driven maure spreader that is missing the floor. What type of wood should be used and thickness? I have heard hardwood, pine, or tongue and groove treated. Alos what type of wood to use on sides?

I had an old Oliver ground driven manure spreader given to me. The metal parts were in great condition, but the wood was all but gone. I replaced all the wood with 5/4 PT decking. Not original but should last along time.

The floor in mine is the original wood. That's the only part.

When it goes I am going to replace it with some of that decking material that looks like wood but is part plastic. It will last forever that way. I'm not worried about it looking 100% correct as I use it.

I replaced the floor and sides on my NI with the plastic/sawdust board several yrs ago & it works fine.
