2n replacment radiator

On the N series tractors the only mounting bolts are on the bottom of the radiator. As for the top the only thing there is the upper radiator hose and that is ALL. So now since you ask are you sure you have a ford 2N and not something else???

That is odd since I have NEVER yet seen an N series with other then what I said so you may have something some one did to farmerize it. Since I have had many of the N series I would think I would have seen it if a factory thing. You might get more info if you asking down in the 9N/2N/8N forum below

thank you old.i will have to do more digging.i didnt see any other way for the front of the hood to bolt to.something could have broke and it was farmerized.this is my first n.

The hood has 2 what is called dog legs that bolt with a bolt on each side just below the radiator bolt mounts. That is all there should be up front and then 4 or so bolts back by the steering wheel area. Sounds like some one messed up the dog legs and or maybe you do not even have the dog legs. If you need I could take a picture of the hood I have that is off a tractor be it a 9N or 2N but it came from one but they are all the same

i do believe i have it all straighted out now.mounting brackets on old radiator must be for fan shroud which is missing.thank you for help.i do see lower bolt holes for hood.
