Yes the new fuel filter was the one that was suggested from the expert at our local international farm shop. The flow of gas was a constant stream that maintained its flow until all the gas had drained. I'll definitely check the plugs. Not sure the last time they were changed, but our mechanic at work mentioned something about them. I'm not too knowledgeable with engines, but I must admit it has been fun getting to know the things I've already learned. Thank you to everyone for the ideas and please if there are any other suggestions keep them coming. Thanks in advance! |

"All the gas had drained" Does that mean from the tank or from the bowl? If it stopped after the bowl was empty it would not run for very long. |

| check in the fuel tank I have had a dead bug float and cover the fuel line while it is running . when the engine stops the bug floats away and everything works fine until the bug plugs the line again |
