When I did my D17 rims I wire wheeled them then sanded them down. I sprayed the inside with Rustoliume cold galvinsing compound (2 good coats). The outside was primed heavy and painted with a brush (2coats) with aluminum paint and let it set for a day when a good coat with a spray can to hide the brush marks and to give it a good shine. It was alot of work put they turned out good. Bandit

This is just a working tractor that I bought a used set of tires for that needed the rims painted, So I figuared I might as well do it right. It took as long to clean and paint the 2 weights as it did to paint the rims and centers. Getting the weights back on without messing up the paint was not easy! I dont think they look to bad. Bandit

Some yahoo that has never attempted to do something like that just can,t think of how hard it is to get it all back together and keep the good look. Really a neat set of wheels with weights.
