I have an 1970 Wiconsin v-4 air cooled engine that I am in the process of rebuilding. I need to find a business that sells parts and gaskets for this engine. Does any body know of a place in Riverside, or in the Inland empire. Just asking thanks..Brent

The link goes to Wisconsin Engine distributors in the Northwest.

There might be dealers closer to you, but try the distributor closest to you and they will let you know who that might be.
For some reason, a lot of people think that Wisconsin engines are obsolete and no factory parts are available. Not true!

I worked on one of these once. Fascinating engines with a long history of reliable service. parts are expensive as I recall, but you should be able to get everything you need. Don't go to O-Reilly et al, though. Napa may have some things; Ditch Witch dealers will have a lot of parts but $$.

NAPA can get gasket kits, Piston Rings, Valves,
Carb kits,New carbs, fuel pumps. The smaller
V4's are just two 2, cylinder upper decks, on a different base, and most parts interchange.
Wisconsin Motors are still in business, still
making 1cyl., 2 cyl., and 4 cylinder engines,and
virtually all parts are still available, direct
from Wisconsin, or from NAPA auto parts.
The official Wisconsin web site:
www.wisconsinmotors.com has free downloads of
service and parts manuals.

A little over a year ago I bought a fuel pump for a V4 from NAPA. Also, if you are patient, about anything you need new for these engines can be found on ebay. No, I don't like using ebay, but when they save me money, I'll tolerate the company.
