Thank you for all the information and input on whether to retore our 1941 B or to leave it original. I really like everyone input on leaving it original. It"s only original once. Very true.

Here is a quick photo of the tractor as we pulled it out of the barn.

Rich C,
Photo did not come through. Please try again, would love to see it. (If you happen to be a new user - the site will not let you post photos for a few days).

I am a new user. However, I did post a picture of the tractor on the Tractor Photos of when we pulled it out of the barn. Its under the 1941 JD B It had been sitting for a long time 50+ years. But my aunt always turned the engine over to make sure the pistons wouldn't lock-up. Have more pictures of us taking it out.

Thanks for your interest.

Rich C,

Very nice. Boy, I'd sure keep it and get it running. Down the road I think your only regret would be if you do not keep it.

I'll bet if your GrandDad was around,he could tell you where every scratch, scuff and paint wear came from. If you paint over it,that will be gone forever. You might not ever hear the stories, but as long as it's original you can use your imagination.
