My farmall super m won"t drive. We had a tractor pull and then during the pull the tractor got pulled, while in gear, and the tires stopped moving like it was in neutral. After I toke the tractor out of gear and back into gear and nothing happened. I am not sure if the clutch just gave out or what. Any help please?

A little more info please. Was there a pop or a bang? Did it act like the clutch was slipping for a second or two?

With the lack of info hard to help you help your self.
Does the PTO still work??
If you jack it up and put it in gear will one tire spin forward and the other back wards. by hand that is??
With as little as you said it could be the clutch the input shaft and or the ring and pinion or for that matter a completely blown transmission

I haven't tried any of that but I will have too and get back to you. Would it help to know if the belt works also?

That might be because when it is in gear it sounds like something is spinning and scratching just behind the flywheel.

If it has the flat belt pulley yes since the Super M does not have live PTO/belt pulley

d beatty gets my vote.Seen Mack B-61"s with single disk clutches, and one of my Dodge pickups do the same thing, snap the hub out of the clutch disk.Have to admit I"ve never heard of any Farmall of that vintage do that, but always a first time-

I'm with DBeatty and Ol' Gimpy, I was driving a B-61 Mack once that had it happen just after I crested a hill and shifted up.
