John Deere 4430 clutch problem

I have a 1975 John Deere 4430 quad range that the clutch has started slipping in all gears. System pressure measures 2250 psi. At the clutch port I only have 50 psi and oil is airated. I removed the rockshaft housing and checked the cast iron plate underneath for cracks and it was ok. Now I'm stumped. Any help greatly appreciated!!

Given the vintage and hours. Odds are it needs the uptime trans oil pump. A clean screen and new filters. Is the pto valve moving full stroke to. 100% open?

The problem is in the Hi-Lo clutch pack not the main clutch. The power shift Hi-Lo(1-2 or 3-4 shift) uses oil pressure to engage. 50 PSI is way low. It should be in the 135 PSI range. You need to split it and check the Hi-Lo clutch pack out. I would bet that you have blown an oring in a piston. I would rebuild it completely while I was in there.

The main clutch shares the same oil with the two speed and the pressure should be 185psi if it's been run long at 50psi they are all burnt up
