I have a 1949 8n Ford with the front mount distributor. It had been running great but now after I been running it for about 20-30 minutes it starts to cut out like its running out of gas. I will let it set for a number of hours and it starts right up and runs for 20-30 minutes etc. There always seems to be gas in the bowl under the gas tank. I also have replaced the plugs, wires and distributor cap.

As ultradog said best place to ask is down in the 9n/2N/8N forum. That said sounds like your coil maybe going bad on you. Best thing to do is when it dies check your spark and make sure it is a good blue/white and will jump a 1/4 inch gap at ALL plug wires
