TSC Valspar Paint ?

I see TSC is phasing out the Valspar paint. I have enjoyed good results when using Valspar with hardner for equipment to make it nice but not showroom nice. They are beginning to sell Majic paint, Rural King has sold that for years and I have always heard it was not of the same quality of the Valspar. Anyone use Majic with decent results?

i painted a fuel tank for an i-h 574 tractor about a month ago with it for a customer. he brought in the paint. used a 1.7 tip in an hvlp gun, paint layed down nice, good shine , no problems. for inexpensive paint, seems fine.

Many paints look nice, good, or at least OK at first. I think the issue here is going to be a less quality paint that rears it's ugly head with a little time and sun exposure.
Only an accountant and/or a CEO can make a company lose millions or go under while trying make a few more pennys.
Valspar makes JD's paint that is almost $15 a can at retail. It is great paint.

i believ valspar made the ih 2150 as well.

I havn't trie dthe new stuff. have switched to nason syn enamil for the time being. guess I should try the other stuff at least..

Painted a grain auger with Ford red paint from Rural King a couple years ago. It sets out all the time in the weather and it turned a light purple color in places, at least what didn't curl up and peel off. Don't think I would paint a tractor with their paint. Joe

I painted a 3pt hitch mower with Massey Red about 6 years ago and it still looks good.
