Farmall 140 Hyd. problems

I have a 140 Farmall. Was cutting grass with bush-hog when thr lift started makeing a load noise. Cut tractor off and added a quart of oil. Started back up and the lift has not worked since. Please give me some tips on what where I need to start to fix this problem. Thanks
 
You probably need to pull the hydraulic pump since it was making a loud noise. Take a good look at the gears to see if something happened to them. Also look at the body of the pump where the gears are for any wear. Hal
PS: Here's the parts breakdown on a Pesco pump. Your pump may be similar.
