im just finishing up my rebuild , could anyone give me the lowdown on setting the valve timing steps , a simple condensed version. will i need to do an assembly timing than retime it after its hot?. because the tank is inastalled over valve cover, just could use a few pointers. the engine ie perkins deisel ad4-203. i have book specs, they say .010 hot, .012 assembly

| I use a small tank to run engine up to temp, retorque cylinder head, then reset valves before main tank is put on.
