I have a to 30 in parts, and would like to know where the voltage regulator and starting solenoid are suppose to be mounted. Obviously, i dont have another to look at. Can anyone help? Thanks, Rich

The OEM TO-30 didn"t have a solenoid. It had a safety switch mounted in the top of the bell housingthat was actuated by the transmission lever being place in the upper right hand corner of the shift pattern marked with the letter "S".

I believe the voltage regulator was mounted on the front edge of the battery shelf. Ask this question on the Ferguson Forum.
