My Long 360 diesel is a workhorse, but Recently it runs well for different periods of time then just stalls out. Fuel filters are new. Cleaned and re-oiled air filter. Thought it was losing vacume but if i let it sit for a while it will run again, without having to bleed fuel system.Any ideas? Thank you

| | ....Got her running yesterday. Found an inch long sliver of debris in hand pump for bleeding system & a crimp in gas line where linkage from accelerator was wedging line against casing of injector pump. Ran for an hour under load with no problems I"m not much of a mechanic, but your suggestions put me on the right track. thank you for your help

| Lots of posts lately about crud in tank blocking screens. Last spring I was having problem loosing power after a short time. disconnecting the line just before the filters revealed a slow drip only. The problem was a Tee plugged with rust and crud from the tank.

| Could be simple as fuel cap vent plugged, no air into tank, no fuel out if plugged or restricted. What fuel filters are on, if NAPA 3166 make sure inlet groove at top of filter is not blocked with O ring, have seen that happen more than once.
