Rebuilding Dad's 1949 B. Neighbor suggested replacing the head with a more recent head that doesn't have the copper tubes, where he says "if it's gonna leak, that's where".
My head also has a poor thread area for front water plug and has been patched (very nice job, on front shoulder area).
Suggestions, ideas? Thanks.

A repaired the drain plug on my GP by using a Die Grinder and removing the excess material, then inserting a 3/4" pipe bushing in the hole and used Nickel 99 welding rod to secure it. The push rod tubes are readily available from several vendors and easy to install with the head off the tractor.
