i just split the block from clutch housing on my massey 65,fun time ,all my precise moves failed when it just toppled right out of the cradle i had for hoisting it, oh well dont see any harm done just a couple of bent head studs. i told my wife it was like a surgeon dropping the heart on the operating room floor during surgery. but to my question. should i see engine oil in the clutch housing, small pool in a recess in the casting. is this normal or was it a leaky seal? on another note ,when my block bit the dust, i saw nasty greyish oily crap drain from one of the water ports on the top of the blockwere could this concoction have originated, im concerned, it was in the vicinity of cylinder 4. ithink this needs to be solved before i continue, thanks for ant advice
