Someone sent me a wiring a diagram a few years ago for my Ford that has been converted to a 12 volt. I misplaced it. If you could send that to me, I would be very grateful. I also need to know the gauge of the wires and where they go.

In my last post requesting a wiring diagram for a Ford 8N I was wrong. It is a 6 volt and has not been converted to 12. Also has a front mount distributor (squarecan). Sure would appreciate any help with the gauge of the wires also.
Thanks

(quoted from post at 20:14:30 08/02/11) Lyman thanks for the diagram. Now is this the diagram for the converted version or the 6 volt version.
don't know Lyman, but the diagram is 6 volt. positive ground, just like rolled off showroom floor, except dealer installed lights.

The wiring diagram that came with my 12 volt conversion kit tells me where the "number 1" terminal is on the alternator, but doesn;t say what wire should be connected to it. I assume it's the one with the spade connector but if I use that, the rubber plug won't go back on, exposing the wiring terminals. Am I doing something wrong? I'd like a better explanation for the wiring that came with the kit. Any help out there? Thanks much.
