Sandblaster grit size

I have one of the TSC portable tank type sand blasters. What grit size would be good for this when sand blasting a tractor?

Something about the size of sugar should work. It'll do a fine job of getting into every crack and crevice you don't want it in, as will a larger grit. Big sand, like river sand will shot pein smooth metal that you might want to keep smooth. Jim
