Hi there! I am completely new to this site so: Apologies in advance.
I have been given a UTB 650 tractor to overhaul....Not restore, I hasten to add....Just to get working a little more efficiently.
It's in fair condition generally given its' age: Built in 1972...... But not surprisingly, many problems exist.
My current problem is the hydraulic system. It's capacity is 65 litres & although I drained a mere 36 or so, the hydraulics [b:95e0208d83]did[/b:95e0208d83] work to some degree, when it arrived.
The oil I drained was a crap colour: Guess they had been emptying the frying pan in there to keep it going!
I replaced the filter. And also the flexi hose from the Hyd Pump to the rear manifold. I added 65 litres (as per the Spanish Manual I have), started it up...... &......... yes.........nothing happens.
Guess I have an airlock somewhere?
So, how can I bleed the system & at least get it back to operational status!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Steve.
