:( just bought tractor yesterday,in process of doing oil change, noticed oil in radiator,is this normal as i noticed some ih 430 have oil cooled units, what type of motor oil do they use for oil change .gas 4 cylinder motor

By oil cooled you mean the engine cools with an oil rather than with water??? I didn't know any such relatively modern engines exist, at least in ag/ind eqpmt use (live and learn?).
On yours, d'you mean radiator is literally filled with just oil, not that there's oil floating on or mixed with the water??
My apologies if I'm displaying my engine ignorance.

If I remember right the 430 used the 148 engine.
A few drops of oil would not concern me. But, a
visible amount might indicate a leaking head
gasket. I would try tightening it down a little
first. If that does not work, probably changing
it would be a good idea.
