my friend gave me a Standard Monarch Tiller. to my surprise, the piston, cylinder, magneto et are all there and in very good condition despite the fact that this thing sat outside for decades. i have two questions:
#1: where can i get piston rings?
#2: i believe that the engine starts with a hand crank, right? does the hand crank have a ratchet mechanism so that it doesn't grab when the engine starts? i'm considering making one from an old ratchet wrench.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
