Electrolysis tank emmissions................???????????

Are the emissions from the electrolysis tank corrosive in nature? I know the mix while “cooking” discharges hydrogen and oxygen gas (and possibly other things) and I’m wondering what affects it would have on a tin roof. I would like to put this in my shop but if the resulting emissions are corrosive then I don’t want to rust the inside of my roof out. My shop is a 50’X50’ Quonset building so the walls and roof are one curved unit. I know the gases are explosive so I fully understand that I need to vent but what about the affects on my shop? third party image

Just tried this for the first time and really impressed!
As i am concerned with the "gas" issue I want to put the pot in my unheated well ventilated shop area, as it get cold here, bout 9 degrees F right now, will that cause a problem? I am thinking the bubbeling will keep it from freezing but will it slow the reaction to a standstill?

I sat mine right outside the shop on the concrete pad. Problem now though is that leaves from a nearby tree are fallling in the tank. Guess I will have to fish them out or cover the tank.

I love this method of cleaning parts.

Pat--The only emissions you should get is hydrogen gas. The gas is explosive and is lighter than air. If the area you anticipate using is well ventilated there should be no problems. Good luck with the process.
