Would a 1950-T make a good puller? year would not be a problem in out area. what do you think it would weight with sheetmetal rims f/r with narrow front.

It all depends on the rules that you pull under, what the competition is like and how far you wan to go. With light wheels and a narrow front end you should be between 9000 and 10000#, but I can not tell exactly. A fiberglass or other relacement grill, lighter fenders and support brackets, loose the three point hitch arms and you can et even lighter.
