Hello. I have a 52 BW that I need to overhaul the engine in, and had considered haveing the cam checked and ground. Im not looking to gain 50 hp, but was wondering if any, and what results had been found by having a cam ground different than stock. The rest of the engine will be pretty much stock, might do some port cleanup work to the head. Thanks Jake

Just my opinion - If you're leaving it stock, leave it stock - measure the lobes and compare to what they should be. Leave the head alone. There are quite a few B's out there that have big bore/big stroke and stock cams.
