Depends on how much work and what you
want to do with it. Are you asking
about easy bolt on options or custom
built components. 800 plus c.i. is
VERY achievable. 900 possibly.
Into the 450 range fairly easy. I
currently have 3 U models set up to
pull. 354ci, 425ci, and a big one.

Stock 800 blocks and heads. With 6 in crank makes 531cu. Will run way better than using 670 heads. Just will need to grind quite a bit. Then some used radial aircraft pistons like from a spray plane. 5.5 and a 7 in crank. Have a friend with this combo. Runs good. I would put it in as old a U as I could find. A ZB rear end would be even better. Light as you can make it. Above all have fun!
