What is the normal on pulling in a 4000# class on tire psi , and I get track n things play a part but my real question is how much air to run in a 18.4 x38 Firestone full cut on 20" rims , I ran 9lbs as usual on a power track and it spun on top while others seem to bite , just asking thanks

I knew a man a few years ago that ran 2psi in 18.4x38 on a wd45. Tires were 8 ply I think. It is really trial and error involved to see what works for you

Soft track soft tires.
Hard track hard tires.

Exact psi will take trial and error as itll never be the same from one place to the other.(regionally speaking).

I always adjust tire pressure with tractor at pulling weight on concrete floor. Air down till lugs are touching full length. For my tractors 60 and 70 running 6500 and 7500lb classes pressure usually falls in the 9 to 10 lb area. One time aired down to 5 lbs the tires looked like drag slicks the way the wrinkled with no better results.

the tighter the track the more pressure you may need the sandier the track the less . it's a judgement call .
