have an opportunity to purchase either a oliver880 diesel or a oliver88 gas just starting to pull locally which best choice to pul in none modified type pull both are in good condition.

lot more hp with the 880 and they are nice tractors but I think the gas tractor is easier to get more hp out of . the gas tractor weighs lots less also . your pick have fun .

Silly question, buy both! If that's not possible I would lean towards the gasser.

They are both good tractors. I would buy whichever has the best tires for pulling (old and hard) preferably firestones.
